Heritage Antique Restoration is a family run business with many years of experience in the antiques trade. We are well established in the antique restoration industry and pride ourselves on returning antique furnishings of all ages to as near pristine condition as possible.

Restoration work

Restoration may be as simple as the light cleaning of an antique to remove dirt or grime, and it may be as substantial as the near complete rebuilding of a piece. As trained and time served craftsmen, we are able to judge the level of restoration required for each piece, sensitively ensuring that the patina and identity of the antique is retained while the overall condition & appearance is improved.

Many of the pieces we work on are either in preparation for sale, or the restoration of a new acquisition by a collector. Our aim is to restore the antique to a like-new condition, to bring out the natural beauty of the materials used, replace worn or damaged sections and present the antique in its best possible condition.
